This week's challenge at Daring Cardmakers has been set by Rein and it is to use Birds on your projects - it can be stamped, die-cut or made in another way - and you might even win a prize this week!
This week's dare is sponsored by The Ribbon Reel, who are one of the best places around for fuelling your ribbon addiction - visit the shop to see a wonderful range not just of ribbon but lace, trims and even stamps. For more info, please visit Daring Cardmakers blog!
I've used this wonderful Glitz bird rub on, which I cut out and and stuck to a chipboard frame backed by sheet music card. Natural elements look great with the red and kraft theme - I've used hessian, mulberry paper frame and waxed string. The rose is made from Seam Binding, and as it's a Christmas card I've used some red glitter 'dots' for a subtle shimmer and of course some pearls!
