And here is my second card for the Prima Christmas card challenge. This time I've been inspired by Day 6 - Stacey Young (below)
I just love the reindeer, textures and colours.
For this card, I started by using an ink pad over my polka dot mask onto a kraft card blank then layering corrugated card and
Prima Fairy Belle paper. I've used a brick wall mask and
embossing paste on burlap to create the house base then adding
paper and resin shutters, which if you look closely have been highlighed
with "snow" (paint!). The roof is resist canvas decorated with chipboard
snowflake and crystal embellie. A chipboard reindeer stands upon snow created
by using strips of voile material, embossing paste and a smattering of glass
glitter along with crystal swirls and frosty flower arrangement.

12 Days of Christmas card challenge - Day 4
Hello readers! I'm back to share with two cards with you for the Prima 12 Days of Christmas card challenge. The idea is to make a card taking inspiration from one (or more!) of the twelve cards made by the DT.
My first card was inspired by Day 4 - Hege Lundquist (below) ggggggH
I just loved the fresh colours and flourishes. Here is my take on it!
I started off by using the sticky labels off the back of chipboard snowflakes as a mask and spread over some gesso paint. Next I stitched around the card and flicked some shimmer mist over the snowflakes.
This cute resin birdhouse is surrounded by an assortment of beautiful flowers, North Country chipboard and bling flourishes! I've finished off with lace and muslin along with bottom, highlighted with gesso paint.
And a close up of the details:

Hello and welcome a new challenge over at The Ribbon Reel this fortnight! Sadly this will be me and Pauline's last week on the DT. I've had a wonderful time on this very talented team and will be sad to go!
Pauline is our host this week and has chosen this bright and beautiful inspiration photo and asks you to create a card / project with all the COLOURS of the RAINBOW,
plus RIBBON & TWINE.
I've made this sweet and simple new baby card by fashioning some white embossing paste into clouds and flicking lightly with paint for lots of texture. The kite is made with triangles of felt and Bakers Twine along with knotted Grosgrain ribbon. I've put colourful twine along the bottom of the card and finished with a Candy Stripe button.
Blue Medium Cnady Stripe Button, Bakers Twine in: Cherry Red, Aqua, Cotton Candy Pink, Yellow, Orange and Purple Plum. Grosgrain Centre Stitch in Turquoise all available from The Ribbon Reel.

Damask Delight
Hello and welcome! Over at The Ribbon Reel it's Debbie's turn as host this week and she asks that you create a card / project inspired by the NEUTRAL PALETTE in the photo and include A DAMASK PATTERN plus LACE / RIBBONS.
I've gone quite simple with this card, starting with layering roughed up Coredinations with kraft card that has been embossed using white embossing paste with a Prima damask mask (!) and tucked some pretty lace behind. Two squares of embossed and sanded Coredinations nestle under this lovely metal sentiment. I've used this gorgeous Bridal White satin ribbon for a lavish bow and glued some pom pom trim around the pearl gem.
39mm Bridal White Satin Ribbon, Ivory small Pom Pom Trim, 19mm Ivory Lace & Pearls all available from The Ribbon Reel.

A {Labor} of Love
Welcome to a new challenge over in The Shabby Tearoom! Debbie is your lovely host this week and asks we create card or project using COLOURS FROM THE PHOTO & A BANNER.
I just love this weeks inspo pic and tried to reflect as much of it as I could in my card! I stuck die cut stars onto the kraft card blank like a stencil and painted over the top and removed them. I've added a ribbon banner and paper rosette (by Tim Holtz) along with the 'Snowmen Melt My Heart' (yes, really!) digi stamp from Robyns Fetish which I've altered to say 'So'!

Vintage Vibe
We have a new challenge over at The Ribbon Reel blog, and Helen is our wonderful host this fortnight and asks we create a card / project in BLACK & WHITE with a shot of PINK plus RIBBON.
I must admit this colour scheme slightly worried me, as it's not normally what I use but I think I pulled it off! I love the papers which have been sat in my stash for ages, which I gave some wonky stitching. A doily has been layered with music paper and a Tim H birdcage die cut (which has been subtley stamped), scallop circle, chipboard circle and voile and felt heart with a flash of pink from this pretty rose.
Seam binding has been threaded through the base of the birdcage and shredded the ends and scrunched up for a bit of texture. I finished with a greeting stamped onto music paper.
White Seam Binding, Tea Rose, Bakers Twine and Heart pin all available from The Ribbon Reel.
