Something different...

Finally managed to get these done! These little egg holder gifts (chocolate or real) were made out of humble old toilet rolls! I just cut them in half and wrapped paper around them then decorated. I found making these quite fun, only trouble being I was inundated with ideas on decorating them, not sure whether that's a good or bad thing ;)

I will be entering it in : The Pink Elephant Easter challenge,
Simon Says Stamp and Show 'Anything but a card' challenge
The Shabby Tearoom 'Spring Colour' challenge
and Lollipop crafts 'Gift or box' challenge

The greeting was a digi stamp and I backed it with a paper flower, and the netting looks great with kraft card.

I never really use feathers in my craft, but love thems on Easter projects. The rose is hand rolled and finished with a brad.

The egg was die cut and then painted with Tim Holtz crackle paint and then Glossy Accent-ed. I used the wetting and scrunching up technique on the seam binding to make it go crinkly.

Ta-da!

Papers from Pink Petticoat 'Spring Wishes'
Round Easter greeting digi stamps Cuddly Buddly
Kraft card + ribbed kraft card
Tim Holtz crackle paint in Milled Lavender
Martha Stewart border punches
Bakers Twine from the Ribbon Girl
Butterfly from Glitz rub ons 'Winged'
