Sea Life Tag | Lindy's Stamp Gang guest feature + video

Hi everyone,

Welcome! Today I am very excited to be a special feautred guest designer on the Lindy’s Stamp Gang blog. I’ve created a mixed media tag with some marine vibes incorporating Lindy's sprays and Magicals powders.

By using a bare wooden tag with the Magical powders and water creates a wonderful stain into the woodgrain and gives a great base for the project.

I have had fun with some re-purposing on the tag, using pieces of metal (shell and seahorses) from old pairs of earrings which I covered in gesso and Lindy’s sprays.

For some texture I used tulle net material and a transparent 3D gel medium mixed with Cotton Candy Pink Magical powder which lets the color show through beautifully.

You can see the tag being created right here in this video tutorial!

Spring Sparkles card

Hello everyone!

I'm sharing a quick and simple Spring inspired card today filled with bright fresh colours and some added bling with WOW! Sparkles glitter and embossing powder.
I started off by applying soft gel medium to the edges of the card which I then covered with Pumpkin Spice Sparkles glitter to create a blingy border frame and to add some definition.

I've kept the back ground of the card relatively simple with a layer of gesso spread over patterned to give a white washed look and then stamped with the honeycomb stamp from the Heart & Twine set.

Some gesso and glitter makes a big difference to paper flowers!

To embellish I've used a selection of flowers, feather and resin embellishment which I created with WOW Melt-it powder, which I made by mixing 1tbsp tablespoon of Melt-It powder with 1tsp of Avocado embossing powder in a foil tin and then melting the powders together. Once melted I poured the liquid into WOW's feather silicone mould to create a resin embellishment. To finish I added some glue on the tip of the feather and sprinkled with Seahorse glitter to co-ordinate with the real feather which it nestles alongside.

Hope you enjoyed a quick simple Spring card!

New Workshops for 2017

Hello my lovelies,

I hope you're feeling well and inspired. I'm really excited for today's post, which has taken a long time coming lol. I'm finally  able to share my new workshop projects for 2017 with you all! These projects have had a lot of love, work and soul put into them over the past two months and I'm really pleased how they have all come together.  There are six new Prima classes and one new WOW! class, combining lots of new techniques and products.

I've also created a video to showcase the projects in more detail below.

I hope you like them as much as I do. I'd love to know what you think!

Hugs
