Trim Tin - New Prima Laces & Trims

Hello again! I have some more exciting new Prima goodness to share with you today. Time for new trims and lace! Hop over to the Prima blog for the full reveal and somefantastic samples :)

And some new jute trims...aren't they colours just fabulous?!

So now  to give you the low down on this project! Starting out with a tin lid, I layered lengths of trims and lace inside, then topped with a generous coat of gesso. I spritzed this background with a selection of Color Bloom mists (see info at the bottom of the post).

 
I've used a mini canvas turned upside down in the middle of the tin, which I decorated with lace and added a scrap of denim in the recess.  Then I had fun with a selection of the jute trims which I topped with a styrofoam/polystyrene heart decorated with these awesome resin wings, jean plate and wire.
