Daring daisy

Instead of a card I thought I'd do a little string fastening treat bag for the Daring Cardmakers daisy / sweet pea flower challenge, my brain wasn't really going down the 'daisy card' route. No papers on this one, but I wanted a the white and bright yellow to really stand out and thought it looked quite Spring / Easter-like. The glitter daisies are something I've had knocking around for ages, so it was nice to finally use them. The centres of the daisies are Doodlebug Sugar Coated brads.

What a challenge, literally

Here's my card for the Simply Create and Shabby Tea Room challenges. Gorgeous colours to play with, but had a bit of trouble with my mojo with this one for some reason. Amazing how you start with one idea and end up with something completely different! For the flowers, I die cut and then scrunched up and inked with Colorbox Ice Blue chalk ink. Anyways, I am quite happy with it now :)

First card

Well here's my first card pic for the blog-a-mabob. Here goes...
I recently got hold of Pink Petticoat's Perfect Papers digi kit (leopard paper from said kit)
and  Old Fashioned Girl digi kit,(doodle flowers from this one)
and this is what I did with it. Currently obsessed with PP ;)
I wanted a pretty, but bold and funky card.
The birthday stamp is a Heidi Swapp one I dug out from (overspilling) stash.
