Happy Easter :)

Well, this is my final Easter card this year! Really enjoying doing this one and it's going in the The Shabby Tearoom 'Stripes and pastels', The Pink Elephant 'Grey, green, pink and white' colour challenge and Papertake's 'Spots or stripes' challenges.

I used another Pink Petticoat bunny from the spring kit (yes, I love buns!) and Perfect Papers. I'm loving the coiled roses, I think they look so pretty on cards. Finished off with ribbon and pins fom the Ribbon Girl.

Happy Easter!

Aqua-holics

My latest creation which I'm entering in these challenges:

Paper Cutz 'Buttons or bows'
Daring Cardmakers 'Spring or Easter theme'
Cr84fn Colour Challenge 'Aqua, light blue, cream colour challenge'

Had a couple of false starts with this one, but once I got going it came together quite well. Adore the colours set in the Cr84fn challenge. How gorgeous is this pic?!

I coloured the doily in with a Pro Marker, which turned out really well. More scrunched seam binding! The bird is a Glitz rub on, I really like the music note/text print look with pretty colours.

Round We Go

My latest Easter creation which I'm entering in the Allsorts blog challenge
Simon Says Stamp 'Spring colours / Easter' challenge
Paper Play 'Critters Galore' challenge
The Pink Elephant 'Easter' challenge
Paper Cutz ' Bunny, lamb, chick and Easter egg' challenge

Yes, more stitching from me! How pleased am I ?! Made the scalloped edge by punching circles and embossing them with Cuttlebug's 'Swiss Dots' folder, then sanded them. If you haven't tried sanding Core'dinations card, you should! So fun. I think paper rolling (the technical term lol) is very cool, I love the dimension it brings to cards. No doubt I will using that again soon :)

And here's a little close up of those paper 'cigars'...

Something different...

Finally managed to get these done! These little egg holder gifts (chocolate or real) were made out of humble old toilet rolls! I just cut them in half and wrapped paper around them then decorated. I found making these quite fun, only trouble being I was inundated with ideas on decorating them, not sure whether that's a good or bad thing ;)

I will be entering it in : The Pink Elephant Easter challenge,
Simon Says Stamp and Show 'Anything but a card' challenge
The Shabby Tearoom 'Spring Colour' challenge
and Lollipop crafts 'Gift or box' challenge

The greeting was a digi stamp and I backed it with a paper flower, and the netting looks great with kraft card.

I never really use feathers in my craft, but love thems on Easter projects. The rose is hand rolled and finished with a brad.

The egg was die cut and then painted with Tim Holtz crackle paint and then Glossy Accent-ed. I used the wetting and scrunching up technique on the seam binding to make it go crinkly.

Ta-da!

Daring daisy

Instead of a card I thought I'd do a little string fastening treat bag for the Daring Cardmakers daisy / sweet pea flower challenge, my brain wasn't really going down the 'daisy card' route. No papers on this one, but I wanted a the white and bright yellow to really stand out and thought it looked quite Spring / Easter-like. The glitter daisies are something I've had knocking around for ages, so it was nice to finally use them. The centres of the daisies are Doodlebug Sugar Coated brads.

... a full frontal...

Bright and Springy

My entry for the Ribbon Girl green and yellow and Lets Create  Easter challenges. I Pro Markered, glittered the bunny and glazed his eggs with Glossy Accents. This is one of the first cards I've attemped to do some sewing on! Love stitching on cards, but I am not really too hot with the old needle and thread to say the least, so quite chuffed with this.
